Food trucks are popping up everywhere and the array of choices just keeps getting bigger. This seems to be a bit discombobulating for me which is why at a food truck festival with over 60 trucks participating, I found myself gravitating towards my favorites...

Work Space
Where all the crazy stuff happens...
I know, I know, the wallpaper has to go...
Thinking of buying a small framed art from 20X200 and have it lean on this back wall
These office supplies are so modern. I love that clear ruler with big numbers.
I gave my husband this radio last christmas and we couldn't stop using it. I love plugging my phone to it and tuning in to Pandora!

Entertaining in Style
Every home that holds gatherings big or small should own basic entertaining pieces. But for someone like me who always want to take things up a notch, I would need items that aren't only functional but stylish at the same time. Here are the items that caught my eye.
West Elm Bone Bottle Opener $8
Michael Aram Cheese Board & Knife $98
Z Gallerie Salt and Pepper Shakers $29.95
Kikkerland Biodegradable Paper Straws $6.50

Rise and Shine Santa Monica
Took a short stroll along the Pier in the morning. Since none of the stores or restaurants open that early, I took advantage of the empty place and snapped a few photos. It was a hazy morning. Hence, the washed-out sky.

Move, Eat, Learn
Introducing three compelling short films by the Australian independent filmmaker, Rick Mereki. The premise of these shorts is exactly the reason why I like to travel. There is just so much to see and discover in the world. Even just outside our towns, there's already so many new experiences awaiting. Hope these films will inspire you as they did for me.

Life in Black and White
Bonelli Park, San Dimas
These are some of the photos I took for a photography project. Sometimes, pictures seem to be more appealing in black and white than in color.

When all else fails, head to the beach.
Summer in the west coast can be annoying sometimes where heat does nothing but make you feel icky and stressed. Well, I can't think of a better way to beat it than to fully embrace the temperature by heading to the beach. Now, pack your cutest bikinis, pair them with in-the-moment panama hat (it doubles as a sun protection for you face!), listen to your summer playlist (create one if you don't have one yet) and read an inspiring book (or whatever you feel like reading). And while your enjoying the sun, sea and sand, go ahead and order a refreshing fruity cocktail.
P.S. It's highly suggested to turn up the heat with your husbands or partners.
Have a wonderful summer!
